Domaine Delaunay
Florent and Thomas Delaunay make our jobs easy — tasting their wines, we immediately knew we had to get them in your hands. Based in the Muscadet appellation, these two brothers took over the family winery, Domaine Delaunay, a few years ago. Florent makes the wine, and younger brother Thomas handles the business affairs.
Their focus is of course Muscadet, made from the Melon de Bourgogne grape, including the Val Fleuri (their home vineyard) and the Cru (a sub-appellation within Muscadet) “Clos Paradis”. They also make a full range of whites, including a delightful Sauvignon Blanc, and rosé.
Whether you’re eating oysters, fish, Caesar salad, or just looking for an aperitif, these wines are refreshing, layered, and a pure delight.
