Verde Frizzante: The Farmer's Fizz
There's really not much to say about this bottle that we haven't already said. Again and again, we ask Pier Sfriso for more, and with each round that comes in, you clean us out.
This is probably our MOST POPULAR Italian wine of any kind. So here's a brand new chance to load it up!
Sfriso Verde Frizzante
According to Pier Sfriso: "Verduzzo Trevigiano is a typical wine from the province of Treviso. It used to be the white wine of the farmers, and now, not that many producers make it because everybody is focused on Prosecco, or other international grapes.” Verduzzo Trevigiano, an indigenous variety, now accounts for less than 1% of plantings in the region, making this something truly unique and very special.
As spring makes its steady march towards summer, we’re always on the lookout for a wine like this--something to serve ice cold, at the beginning, middle, or end of any meal, or anytime for that matter. This is that sparkling wine. Line em up in the fridge, and have one always ready on call!
100% Verduzzo Trevigiano, made with a light, fine dizziness
fresh pears, ginger, and lychee
Very fresh with good acidity
11.5% alcohol, bottled with low pressure and closed with a simple string over the cork
This is a perfect example of what we enjoy about our work the most. To find something this darn good, made in a farmhouse quantity, and to commemorate what farmers used to prefer to drink, just rocks our world.
